Diane Van Wyngarden is the state tourism specialist for Iowa State University Extension and Outreach. She works with  businesses to develop their best tourism strategies, and teaches community tourism workshops to help Iowa’s local economies thrive.

Diane has also been creating and leading educational travel since 2002. She combines her doctorate in adult learning and organizational leadership with her passion for travel.  Diane specializes in themed learning itineraries, and shares unique experiences often hidden to travelers. She highlights the most interesting stops, so you can focus on what you most want to do, such as learning new things, experiencing new cultures, and having fun.
